Ever wondered what it takes to turn clicks into conversations and likes into love for brands? Meet Courtney Weimer, a mastermind behind the screens. While no two days are exactly the same in Courtney's world of social media strategy and content creation, she's taking us through a typical day that's equal parts productive and stylish.
6:30 AM - The day kicks off with a wake-up call from Dovey, her furry companion.
7:00 AM - A five-mile walk or YouTube Pilates energises her body.
8:00 AM - It's coffee time, courtesy of her boyfriend, paired with a bagel or a protein bar.
9:00 AM - Courtney transforms for the day, (sometimes) swapping PJs for work-ready style.
10:00 AM - Courtney dives into her work as a social media manager. This includes email catch-ups, client calls, and the creative process of content creation. It's a dream job that combines strategy with flair.
1:00 PM - A quick lunch break (if she remembers).
2:00 PM - It's time for a fit check, of course. A must for any fashion enthusiast like Courtney.
3:00 PM - Wednesdays mean a therapy session for Courtney, an essential part of self-care and personal growth.
4:30 PM - Courtney turns to editing TikToks, for the days to come.
6:00 PM - Evening approaches, and it's decision time: order takeout or have a cosy pasta night? The eternal dinner dilemma in every home.
7:00 PM - The day winds down with a final walk for Dovey, enjoying the fresh air together.
8:00 PM - Courtney and her boyfriend unwind on the couch. He delves into sports, while she explores Pinterest for inspiration, brainstorms content ideas, or indulges in some aimless eBay scrolling.
10:00 PM - Before calling it a night, Courtney likes to dive into a good book. Currently, she's absorbed in "The Four Agreements."

I love slow mornings, so my ideal day off would begin at a coffee shop. There, I'd get my go-to order: a vanilla cold brew with half-and-half, usually accompanied by a chocolate croissant. Afterwards, I'd either go thrifting or explore a vintage fest. I'd end the day by ordering takeout and watching my latest favourite show, whatever that may be at the time.
I went to college for fashion and marketing. I worked in the fashion industry for quite some time, and then the pandemic hit. I stumbled across the online business space, which led me to start my career as a virtual assistant, helping other business owners with tedious admin tasks. Eventually, I made the transition to a social media manager, a role where I collaborated with online creatives, offering my expertise in social media, design, and creative direction. But this year, I realised that while I had been channelling so much of my energy into my business, it was high time I nurtured my personal brand and grew my online presence as a content creator.
I started posting on TikTok consistently at the beginning of this year, regularly sharing videos on fashion, lifestyle, and beauty. I also started a YouTube channel where you can learn more about me and all my chaotic thoughts. I feel like my career as a social media manager has allowed me to have the freedom to do other creative things while being able to make a living simultaneously. (I've even started receiving PR packages from brands recently—something that still blows my mind!)
I would say my style is a bit more casual day-to-day. On any ordinary day, you'll often find me in a pair of blue medium-wash jeans, paired with a white baby tee or tank top. There's something about this classic combo that makes me feel incredibly put together.
Picking a fashion or style icon is so hard; there are just so many to choose from! Also, being a Gemini Rising (for all of my astrology girlies out there), I tend to change my mind about style a lot. But if I had to list my top five, it would look something like this:
Comfort over everything. When it comes down to it, different types of clothing can make us feel comfortable or insecure, depending on the person. If you aren't comfortable or if you feel insecure, it will show. It’s so important to find clothing that not only inspires you but also makes you feel good.
Buying a new piece of clothing for my wardrobe involves paying attention to three things:
I think both have to exist together, and if you’re missing one, then the other won’t really work. A confident person usually has an innate awareness of their personal style. Conversely, curating a distinct personal style will make you so much more confident. At the end of the day, humans love to create something that is unique to them.
Three fashion tips that I swear by:
I have a few fashion and shopping guilty pleasures, but if I had to narrow them down to three:
Finding inspiration is a bit of a chaotic, non-traditional process for me. Like, obviously, going on Pinterest will help with the visual aspect of my projects, but I really think my creativity comes from the deep areas of my subconscious mind. It might sound weird or a little crazy, but I believe my best ideas are born from every single thing I've encountered throughout my life.
My idea of unwinding might not sound exciting, but I like to rot—like sitting on the couch, watching Gilmore Girls, and scrolling Pinterest—this type of rotting. In my career, I have to be creative all the time, so when I get a chance to relax, I will just turn my mind off.
From a young age, I was drawn to activities like singing and dancing, even though I never pursued them professionally. I remember pretending to be in a music video while singing along in the car or choreographing dances in my family room during my free time. I always held an admiration for movies like 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,' 'Uptown Girls,' 'Devil Wears Prada,' and 'Dirty Dancing.'
I always felt like I wanted to live a big life full of creative things and excitement. Although I may not have had much skill or athleticism back then, I've grown into someone that my eight-year-old self would adore. And that is what makes me feel like I’m living my dream, even if I haven’t reached all of my goals just yet!
